Our journey began, like many modern romances, online—specifically on Hinge. But even before we officially matched, Bryce had noticed Danny on other apps. While Danny wasn't clicking back then, fate (and two incredibly helpful friends!) had other plans.

The Matchmaker Intervention

After connecting on Hinge, Bryce hesitated to message, but friends Aaron and Ryan sealed the deal. They ran into Danny at a gathering and instantly recognized his charm, humor, and kindness. When they saw Bryce had matched with him, they insisted: "You have to meet him!" With that solid endorsement, Bryce sent the message, and this time, Danny replied! The early connection was immediate; they both noted how handsome and funny the other was, and how much they shared in common.

An Extended First Date

Our first official date started with a drink at the now-closed Galley. It went so well that one drink wasn't nearly enough! We extended the evening and moved on to the Snack Bar for dinner. The effortless conversation and easy laughter were the first signs that this was something truly special.

Dogs, Dinner, and Dynamic

As a couple, we found a perfect balance: Bryce brings the "crazy and silly" energy, which Danny happily enjoys grounding the relationship with his more level-headed and less reactive nature.

Our lives—and our home—are full of love, especially from our two dogs. Bryce's Australian Shepherd, Bourbon, and Danny's Cockapoo, Hiccup, were instant friends. While they might not be cuddlers, they share playful moments and are always ready to have each other's backs.

The Sweetest Surprise on the Sky Ride

On a warm day at the Minnesota State Fair, surrounded by the joy of friends and family, Danny pulled off the ultimate surprise. Dressed in ridiculous matching food shirts (Bryce in mac n cheese, Danny in chocolate chip cookies), we boarded the iconic Sky Ride. High above the fairgrounds, completely catching Bryce off guard, Danny proposed! It was a magical moment celebrated immediately with our loved ones.

We are so excited to continue our adventure together. We are especially looking forward to our wedding day in October 2026—a day that will finally bring our entire families together and, of course, a day when we can watch Danny finally hit the dance floor!
